We built Viro because the best part of a long video is buried in it.
Every podcast, stream, and talk contains a handful of moments that would do well on their own. Finding them means scrubbing hours of timeline, and cutting them means an afternoon of reframing and captioning. Most creators never get to it. Viro does that pass for you, so publishing shorts becomes a habit instead of a project.
What we make
Viro is an AI shorts creator. You upload one long 16:9 video and get back vertical 9:16 clips with word-by-word captions, ready for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
Transcribe
Your upload is transcribed with word-level timing, so captions land on the exact frame the word is spoken.
Select
A language model reads the transcript and ranks the self-contained moments — the claims, stories, and demonstrations worth watching alone.
Render
Each moment is reframed to 1080×1920 with the speaker tracked, captions burned in, and exported ready to post.
What we believe about clipping
Selection over decoration
The hard part of clipping is deciding which sixty seconds deserve to exist on their own. That is where our models do their work — the rendering is just the part that has to not get in the way.
Finish the job
A clip is not done when it is cut. Viro reframes to vertical, tracks the speaker, burns in word-by-word captions, and hands you a file you can post — not a project you still have to open in an editor.
Your footage stays yours
You keep every right in what you upload and in what comes out. We do not train models on your videos, and you can delete a project and its media whenever you want.
Priced on what you upload
You pay for the video you put in, not the clips you get out. Cut as many shorts as you like from every upload — volume is how clipping works, so charging per clip would be charging you for the strategy.
Who we are
Viro is built by VoxLab, a small independent software team. There is no support queue between you and the people writing the code — when you email us, one of us reads it and replies.
That also means we ship in the direction our users push. If something in the pipeline is wrong for your footage, or a caption style you need does not exist yet, telling us is the fastest way to get it built.
