Viro takes long-form video you upload, transcribes it, selects moments with AI, and renders vertical short clips with captions. The service is provided on an “as is” basis. Output quality depends on your source material, and we do not guarantee that any particular clip, caption, or moment selection will meet your expectations.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give reasonable notice.

You need an account to use Viro. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.

You keep all rights in the videos you upload and the clips Viro produces from them. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transcode, and transmit your content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to transcribe audio, generate captions, and render exports.

You confirm that, for every upload, you either own the material or have the rights to use it. You must not upload content that:

• •infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• •is unlawful, defamatory, or invades someone's privacy;
• •depicts minors in a sexualised way, or promotes violence or hate;
• •contains malware or is intended to disrupt the service.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Do not resell, sublicense, or share access to the service; probe, scrape, or reverse-engineer it; attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing; or use it to build a competing product. Automated access outside our published interfaces is not permitted.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Each plan includes an allowance of uploaded video minutes per billing period; you may create as many shorts as you like from that footage. Unused minutes do not roll over.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes that may apply.

Viro relies on third-party providers to run parts of the pipeline — including cloud hosting, speech-to-text, and large language models for moment selection — and on Stripe for payments. Your content may be transmitted to those providers strictly to deliver the service.

The Viro software, interface, branding, and documentation remain ours. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service, and nothing more.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using Viro and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to serve you would create a security or legal risk. On termination, your stored uploads and renders may be deleted.

We may update these Terms. If the change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Viro after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
